Quad Testing at Wattlespring Gun Club

Now that we can not just get on our quad bikes and take to the hills we have to load our them and find somewhere to get a ride in.

Last Saturday we had to do just that because we are getting ready for our first big ride in the hills near Thaba Nchu in the Free State on 8th August.

It Was Dry and Windy - Not Good
Just as well we did this because the 250 had a flat battery from standing so long.

Wattlespring Gun Club is our in the farm lands so this was the nearest for us.

It was a real windy day and everything is so dry and dusty. Typical winter day it was. Not pleasant at all.

We did just enough quadding to get the battery going again and then off back home.

In a way we miss the farm for this kind of spontaneous ride but then on the other hand if we were on the farm we would not have the opportunity to do the ride in the Free State as we would be working with the schools.

Give me a choice? - Guess what, I would choose here.

Quads are all good. Just have to be loaded for the trip.
