Family Adventures - Protea Black Mountain

This morning we were a bit wiser and slept an hour later as we knew how the whole ride works.

No more worrying that we were going to hold up anyone as
Ravine To Traverse - Such Fun
everybody in any case stops and has a bite or a chat so it really does not matter what time you finish.

Today was really super cool.

The route took us through the river beds where we had to pull some people out of the mud. I was one that got stuck once. Some pretty tight fitting passages in the gorges and down some hectic steep mountain paths where to the rocks
were loose and you just had to sit tight on your back breaks.

When anything happens along the route you can be sure a fellow rider will stop and lend a hand. It is all part and parcel of the days enjoyment.

One or two spills along the way but no serious injuries.

These rides are really well organized and the entire family has something to do.

Water In The Sump? Not Good

There were Dads on their bikes while the tweens were in a side by side under careful watch of Dad's

eye.

Some side by sides are large enough for the whole family, twins and all.

Loved it again.

We are ready for a good bath but there are rumours that there is no hot water.

Please please don't let that be the case.
